Member Requirements
- Be a Maryland resident.
- Be eligible for Medicaid.
- Require assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, bathing, toileting, dressing, or mobility.
- Choose to receive care at home or in the community rather than a nursing facility.
- Participate in an assessment conducted by the state to confirm care needs.
Caregiver Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- Be legally allowed to work in the U.S..
- Be able to provide personal care services such as help with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and mobility.
- Not be the spouse of the person receiving care (parents of adult children may qualify).
